This piece took a while to complete from it’s humble beginnings! I guess that’s part of the joy of working in oils as opposed to acrylics!
A range of turquoise blues and greens form an abstract lilly pad reptile creature encapsulating a koi coloured floral formation.
This piece has a certain flow which brings quiet contentment.
As with each of my organic abstract works I let the painterly brush strokes reveal the direction and upon reflection I can truly absorb the piece enough to provide a title.
Through pouring abstract energy onto the canvas in it’s completion I can apply the nurturing feminine title ‘Berkano’.
oil paint, matt varnish, wood, metal fixings, gray paint
