My Italian friends made a motorcycle trip all the way from Italy to Norway and took some photographs there. The painting is inspired by them a lot. I love the crispy winter air and seeming solitude of the people's houses in the landscape. The actual surrounding is so rich though - astonishing cleanliness, magnificent mountains and calm.
