Original artwork description:

Sometimes things are not always as they seem, thus the title of this painting - 'Beneath The Surface'.

Inspired by the colour blue and its wide range of values this work is a journey in textures and brushstrokes. Built upon a thick base of gesso, black and gold form an underpainting that strategically peeks out from under an array of blues and white.

This painting is ready to hang with wire attached. The gallery-style canvas edges are black to compliment the black in the painting (no frame is required)

This painting has been created using professional acrylic paint. A thin layer of Liquitex Professional Satin Varnish has been applied for protection

The painting is signed on the front and back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
