This original oil painting for sale was painted en plein air at Villa Catalana Cellars. The little landscape oil study captures the warmth of the setting sun in a Mediterranean atmosphere. Villa Catalina Cellars is in Oregon, but the home, and tasting room is inspired by San Clemente de Tahull, a 12th century romanesque church in Catalonia, Spain. They have a rare plant conservatory where many unusual tropical plants flourish.  In other words, it is a painter’s paradise!
