Original artwork description:

Benaithe means sacred or blessed in Gaelic. Trees, being beautiful and life giving, have always been used as symbols of strength and spirit. With my love of trees and how I use them in my art it was inevitable that one day I would attempt to paint one of the most powerful symbols since ancient times. In early 2014, I felt inspired to paint my own version in my own style.
