Below Sea Level is an acrylic abstracted landscape painting with a small section of crayon. Created on canvas and ready to hang. I love to abstract the landscape with bold swatches of colour and expressive brush strokes. It is of no particular location but begins as a serious of abstract marks until I see a landscape develop which I then work with following the painting as it leads the way! I have been continuing my love affair with gold paint and added a bit more to this painting than I usually do, but am loving the effect with the sunlight or room lighting catches the metallic gold in my work.
