A woman, cradling her beloved cat in her arms.
She holds a flower to the Crescent Moon.
The cat's paws - and claws - are entwined with the flowing red beads.

This was an impulsive drawing made after my dearest cat came to cuddle me on the sofa.
She likes affection but only tolerates so much then has been known to draw blood!

I have kept a muted palette ...
graphite pencil, the background colour of the Ingres lightly textured paper
and white highlights with hints of pale yellow and blue.
