Original artwork description:

A painting about the warm glow of love, both between these lovers and for their darling cats.
The touch of love between them all is symbolised by little droplets of brightness emanating from their fingers. The love of the cats radiates as a jewelled necklace as they snuggle into their mistress's neck, a paw on each of her shoulders. One kitty is almost hidden, enclosed in her flowing hair.

Painted in fine Winsor & Newton acrylics, on 8 x 8" canvas board, presented in a beautifully made tray frame, in stained dark tulipwood.

Some of the photographs show the frame and one is taken with candlelight shining on the painting.

Drawn in graphite which I like to keep visible in places, I have used a very limited palette of Burnt Sienna, Unbleached Titanium and Phthalo Blue, built up in transparent layers. There is a little hint of Phthalo Turquoise to highlight the top right cat as well as bottom left to highlight the flowing hair of the woman.

The painting has one layer of Archival Matte Varnish.
