"Beloved" (2022) Original Oil Painting by Julia Borg

“Beloved” is an expressive oil painting with two white water lilies floating on a luminous pond of royal blue. The surface is built with textured brushwork, creating a sense of movement, light and quiet reflection.

The title suggests tenderness and connection — two flowers sharing the same water, close yet each with its own presence. The painting feels calm, poetic and emotional.

With its soft blue palette and two delicate white water lilies, this artwork can work well as a central painting in a living room, bedroom, entrance area, or other elegant interior. It brings a calm, fresh feeling to the space while still adding a beautiful visual accent.
