Bella, which means ‘beautiful’ in Italian, has earned her name, because she is an exceptionally beautiful cat. I painted her portrait with oil colours and my intention was to convey the sensual elegance and graceful calm that makes cats so unique. With each brushstroke I tried to capture the soft texture of her fur and the lively sparkle of her eyes. This artwork should bring warmth and cosiness to any home and express the deep connection between humans and nature.
