The fascinating history of this site inspired me to paint this atmospheric painting of a stunning sunset over Bell Tout Lighthouse. There has been a beacon to inform sailors on this coast since ancient times, and I wanted to catch the feeling on this place in colour and texture. The picture continues around the edge of the canvas increasing the 3-D effect of this painting even more. It is ready to hang.
