This is an ink drawing/ painting using Quink Ink and Bleach to form the landscape. the landscape is inspired by the Spanish region Cordoba around the agricultural town of Belalcazar. i spent a summer at the residency there at the Convent of Saint Clara (La Fragua) and produced a range of works exploring the landscape the and local culture.

This painting is one of the sketches created around the time using bleach to give a sense of the bleaching effect of the hot climate (45 degrees Celsius).

Materials used:

Quink Ink and Bleach on Paper, Lacquer.
