Original artwork description:

In Scottish folklore, Beira is said to be the goddess of winter and the mother of all the gods and goddesses in Scottish mythology. She built the mountains of Scotland using a magic hammer, and Loch Ness was created when Beira transformed her negligent maid Nessa into a river, which broke loose and made the loch. Ben Nevis was her “mountain throne”. The longest night of the year marked the end of her reign as Queen of Winter, at which time she visited the Well of Youth and, after drinking its magic water, grew younger day by day.
Made with water from the Atlantic Ocean, US, Fluid Acrylic Paint, Air (air gun) and Fire (torch). My work is inspired by the repeating patterns in nature and our connection to the all-encompassing force of life.

This piece is a one of a kind original abstract expression of my inner world and cannot be duplicated.

Each piece is finished with dripped edges and signed on the back. 1..5” Thick Gallery style canvas wired and ready to hang.

A portion of my profit from this artwork will be donated to the Ocean Conservancy.

Materials used:

Fluid Medium, Acrylic paint, Ocean Water, Ink
