'Ensō (円相) is a Japanese word meaning "circle" and a concept strongly associated with Zen. It symbolizes the Absolute, enlightenment, strength, elegance, the Universe, and the void; it can also symbolize the Japanese aesthetic itself. In Zen Buddhist painting, ensō symbolizes a moment when the mind is free to simply let the body/spirit create.'

This piece is from my new Enso, Zen Circle series. This piece is a Original One-Of-a-Kind work of art created with a variety of materials including mixed water media, oil pastel, pencil, collage and more, on a ground of 140 lb. Acid Free Watercolor paper. Finally it has been coated with a high gloss varnish that protects and makes the colors brilliant. Simply beautiful!
It comes to you already matted and ready to fit a standard size 11" x 14" frame!
