In the Netherlands there are large polder areas in the province of South-Holland.
During a walk along the Beggersforest in one of those polders in Alphen aan de Rijn I was surprised by an enormous cloudy sky and few minutes later I was overcome by a heavy hailstorm. The scene of light and darkness was so beautiful and struck me so much that I wanted to capture it.
