"Begbie"

The front paper label of this 12" vinyl music record has been retained - 1 side of a double vinyl release of the Trainspotting movie. Being 180gsm, the final sculpture has a higher gloss finish than older vinyl records. The orange perspex disc is 21cm in diameter, 3mm thick, with wall hanging secured on the back.

Each figurative, contemporary sculpture from the "REmuse" series is sculpted from one whole 7" or 12" vinyl record, with nothing added and nothing removed from the original material - function becomes form.
