Beethoven Study In Oil - Small Portrait. Painted on 8x10 loose canvas. No need to stretch just put In frame. _x000D_ I have been fascinated by Beethoven most of my life and this was a study to see if I can recreate a sense of what he looked like using a life mask and death mask of Beethoven which was a common practice at that time. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
