A joyous painting from my extremely popular 'Bee' series. Beautifully colourful and vibrant it features an adorable fluffy bumble bee. This is a highly original contemporary painting which can brighten up any space.
This series of paintings was born out of an idea which led to a lot of experimentation. I add a little texture before starting the painting, allow to dry and then add layer after layer of paint using a variety of techniques and painting tools for different effects. I start off very abstract and then finish off with more representational flowers and last but not least its very own bee. This is a very special painting which due to it's style has a slightly 3d feel.
