Original artwork description:

This piece was inspired by the colors in an heirloom rose bouquet. The moody colors are reminiscent of the dusky blooms and stems. There is a rustic, modern quality with a decidedly neutral color palette. The colors that border on one another are carefully chosen and meticulously layered in order to create a slight tension with overall harmony.

I coat the final piece with several layers of matte medium and finish it with a layer of matte varnish for a rich look similar to encaustic wax.

This painting is the perfect way to bring luxury into any home or beach house, and can be beautifully displayed vertically or horizontally in any room or above a sofa.
