Drawing of nude female.
For this one, I mixed white chalk and charcoal. The chalk I use gives a slightly colder color, resulting in a dynamic where the charcoal looks warmer. Achieving a good balance is a time-consuming process. Most of my works are photographed in black and white. With color, there will always be a slight variation in appearance. This was photographed in neutral lighting and care was taken to give an impression as true as possible.
My drawings are done on high quality paper, treated with several layers of fixative to protect from smudging and fading. You can hang them directly on your wall, but framing is usually preferred.
I carefully package my work for international shipment. The drawings are rolled into cardboard tubes, which are rolled in corrugated cardboard, then placed in thick-walled cardboard boxes. (See photos of packaging in the “Me at work” section of my profile).
