So much beauty in this painting - my daughter is the model and I love painting her. I also love to paint flowers and whilst their colour in this piece is somewhat muted , it doesn't detract from their beauty. In fact I think it emphasises their delicate elegance. Pops of colour create interest and allow the eye to travel slowly around the painting, allowing the beauty to become all encompassing.
