One of the most beautiful things about the ballet is how they disguise powerful and complicated movements as if they were the easiest and most natural things in the world. While seemingly effortless every part of him is poised and perfect, powerful yet elegant. This painting was a pleasure to paint over the last few weeks in lockdown.

This painting is a collaborative piece between the fantastic ballerino Val Costa , and the wonderfully photographer Angela Zaremba. It captures both the movement and power of the dancer, his form still although he's moving.

Painting is framed professionally in a 75mm Bronze Floral Embossed (high Pattern) wooden frame. It is quite a traditional, high quality frame. It is framed without glass - which allows the oil paints to breathe and stay healthy.
