With my African roots forever calling me to paint bush animals, so this antelope came to being. I love the symmetry of the horns and the facial markings that really just show mother nature's attention to detail and perfection in her work. The medium I have used is Pebeo pouring paints which are not specifically meant to be used with a brush, but just create the most gorgeous effects both when poured and when blended in to one another in a painting like this. The finish is glossy and luxurious, and means that this piece being a box canvas can literally just be hung from a nail on a wall and make a statement all on its own.
