Original artwork description:

This oil painting is from my series "Faces of Beauty". I like to draw beautiful girls and women of African descent.
At the end of the last century, the talented composer David Tukhmanov released a musical disc based on poems by poets of past centuries.
All the songs there were beautiful. Most of all, I liked the song “In the wake of my memory” to the verses of the English poet P. B. Shelley.
And I remember the lines "Golden as the sun, leather ". Probably from that time, I began to look for photographs, any images of mulatto women, black women, and admire their chiselled faces and "golden" skin.
And now, when I can express my emotions in painting, I enjoy painting with oil these beauties.
Artists take inspiration not only from visual images. Inspiration comes to me from poems and songs, and sometimes the desire to paint a picture comes from the scent of perfume or flowers.

Highest quality artists' oil paint, canvas board, linseed oil, dammar varnish
