Sometimes one draws things that are difficult to explain. Some images and colors are formed in the mind and only after the work is done, analyzing what was going on around and how it affected the inner intuitive layer of consciousness, you realize how much is archtypical and repetitive in art. So, the image of the monster, wanting to swallow the Sun, appears in the mythology of mankind for thousands of years. The deep horror that the Sun will disappear hides in the soul of every human being.
The world we have been living in for the last few years sends us a constant signal of anxiety for all living things and this cannot somehow not be reflected in creativity.
In this work I mixed the images of a Medieval Sun and a living alligator approaching it. I placed them in a circle on a background of black and violet colors, which gives the picture, in addition to the decorativeness, a certain mystical touch.
