I've been experimenting with different paint and this bear explosion artwork has been created with an emulsion mix, I've used Farrow and Ball paint mixed with acrylic paint and bonding gel to make the paint more flexible and longer lasting. I love the outcome there is no mistaking that F&B colours are beautiful and they are a pleasure to paint with going on smooth and thick unlike more conventional acrylic paint.

I usually go for plain backgrounds but for this piece I wanted to stretch my boundaries so by combining the textures and marks create a huge energy and excitement to this large painting. He measures W24 x H36 inches is unframed and ready to hang, the edges are painted dark blue.

Bear Glare would make a fantastic statement piece is any modern home.
