This started out as an accurate painting of a shaft of light as it struck our kitchen ceiling, red wall, and black blind. I wasn’t happy with it, so I over-painted it in pale green and removed areas of wet paint with a silicon-tipped brush.
It would suit any location from a modern apartment to a period home. It looks great in our Victorian dining room (see in situ photo).
The construction is canvas stretched over a wooden frame which is not visible. It is ready to hang.
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. Additional paint added and selected areas of wet paint removed with a silicon-tipped brush.
