This is a Suminagashi print built up with slices of floating ink.. A very calming print taken directly from the movement of water and air. Never to be repeated and reminiscent of all those lovely beach moments. I love the pastel palette.
Suminagashi is the ancient floating ink on water technique. It is truly meditative to do and I love the water ripple effect it brings to my work.
It is printed on soft 250gsm BFK Rives paper. It is a one off original print which I have signed on the reverse.
Supplied mounted and cello wrapped ready to frame.
