Artwork description:

The work is a continuation of my interest in the present Seaside locations within the North West British Coastline.
The Individual ownership of these coastal spaces brings a change of colour to their exterior.
As the force of nature takes its toll on the hut surfaces, the individual personal layers of paint are revealed.
During these rival times of overseas package holidays, the North West coastal resorts are sadly for many , simply only a day trip.
The work explores this demise of a mass flood of the population for a period pleasurable experience.Using images of the padlocked beach hut as a representation of longer periods of closure.

Materials used:

Various screen printed colours on stretched canvas with timber support
