I love the mystery of a winding path. It is so exciting to discover what surprises hide behind each turn. Adding to the allure is the fact that this path runs along the coast. Imaging spending your vacation in this house on the beach and enjoying beautiful views of the ocean, gorgeous sunsets in the evenings, and gentle or vigorous surfs during the day. That was my inspiration to paint this piece en plein air (on location) in Pebble Beach, along the 17-mile Drive.
Materials:
Oil on oil-primed Claessens Belgian linen, mounted on the archival museum quality 11"x14"x0.2" Gatorfoam panel. This painting is unframed. It slots easily into 11"x14" standard frame.
