Materials:
Oil on oil-primed Claessens Belgian linen, mounted on the archival museum quality Gatorfoam panel. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.
This painting is framed in a 2"-wide floater frame with a black rubbed finish with a warm reddish umber undertone. A floater frame gives the art an illusion of floating inside the picture frame without touching it, which creates an interesting visual detail and a sense of three-dimensional depth in the overall display. It allows you to see the sides of the canvas, which is valuable for a small 4"x4" painting.
