Original artwork description:

I love the mystery of a winding path. It is so exciting to discover what surprises await behind each turn. Adding to the allure is the fact that this path runs along the coastal 17-mile Drive in Pebble Beach, California. Imaging spending your vacation in this house on the beach and enjoying beautiful views of the ocean, gorgeous sunsets in the evenings, and gentle or vigorous surfs during the day.

This is a 5"x7" gouache painting on 140 lbs 100% cotton cold pressed watercolor paper on acid free laminated sheet. Gouache is very closely related to watercolor. It uses the same gum Arabic binder, but has more pigment which is not ground as finely as watercolor. Professional gouache colors are so opaque and vibrant, because they have the highest pigment load of any other painting medium.
Varnished, framed in a white rustic wooden picture frame, and ready to either display on a desk, or hang on a wall. The frame size is 7.5"x9.5"x0.5".

Materials used:

gouache, cold press paper, laminated sheet, archival varnish
