Like most eight year old boys with a penchant for drawing, I began by copying images of my favourite comic book heroes, Spiderman, Batman et all. All these years later and after working my way through many subjects and styles, I’ve found myself making a return to the painting of heroes, though now of the musical variety. Here’s Blues legend B.B. King who I worked with back in the 90’s. As a professional Blues singer & saxophonist, I’ve been fortunate to work with many of my heroes over the years including the late, great, Ray Charles, but hey, that’s another painting!
