This beautiful lighthouse is located in Crescent City, California. It was March 2014 and the flowers are in full bloom. Thousands of visitors come here each year, as it is a major attraction on the California coast. It is perched on a small island close to the shore. When the tide is out you can actually walk out to it. But you better be back before the tide comes back in! One of the trademark features of the Battery Point Lighthouse is the driftwood sculpture of a breaching whale . Personal photographs of this landmark site are a special conversation piece for those fortunate enough to have been there. It is signed on the front and back. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
