Battersea Power Station is an iconic building in London. Formerly a power station, it was decommissioned between 1975 and 1983 and was left empty for decades. The building and area have been steadily developed in the last few years. This photograph was taken in 2010 before the development started and will remain a historical image of the lone power station on the south bank of the River Thames. As one of my favourite buildings in London it was my aim to capture a serene image of the building reflected in the water. Fortunately, since it was winter the trees on the north bank of the river formed a perfect frame for the building.
This piece of art is a limited edition of 50. This number is the total that will be printed of this photograph. The size and medium will be the same for the whole print run.
A C Type print is a traditional photographic print, usually reserved for colour printing. The print will be on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper, which is considered the industry standard for fine art printing. The finish is a semi-matt finish. The print is durable and can be mounted to aluminium, as a diasec or framed.
The photographic paper cannot be signed after printing due to the surface of the paper. However, prior to printing, the print can be signed and numbered underneath the image, which will be printed and not traditionally written in pen or pencil after printing. A certificate of authenticity will be provided alongside the print.
Delivery is listed for UK, however, artwork can be arranged for worldwide delivery. Depending on the destination, any applicable import taxes can be paid prior to export or on import. I have previously sent art to Europe, Asia and the US.
