The iconic Grade II listed Battersea Power Station is one London’s most exciting new shopping and leisure destinations. This legendary London landmark and surrounding area has been brought back to life as a place to enjoy a unique blend of shops, bars, restaurants, leisure and entertainment venues, parks and historical spaces.
Primarily I work with acrylic paint and ink, collage and mixed media. The acrylics are applied with rollers, pieces of shaped wood, card and any found materials. Collage materials comprise of torn or shaped tissue paper, newsprint, and magazine illustrations. Details are then added with acrylic paint and ink, oil and chalk pastels, pen and ink. I have published a book illustrating my work entitled “Painting Without Brushes” which sums up my style of painting.
