Original artwork description:

Battersea Power Station is one of my 'London Landmarks' series, and is a subject I often revisit. I particularly like the view of it from across the River Thames.
This painting was made from one of my old photographs of the power station before it was converted into apartments and offices.
I have aimed to make an impressionistic atmosphere of this iconic building and heightened the colour of the river to also evoke a Mediterranean feeling.
