Hi,
I've been painting in London again and I've returned to one of my favourite subjects - the ruin of Battersea power station. At the moment, it is being renovated into flats and apartments. So the wonderful, ruined shell of the old building will disappear.
If you like post industrial decay, Battersea is unbeatable.
Here I have tried to capture the view on a hot day where the sun glints of the metal rails and is turned into reds and yellows by the haze and fumes.
