Bastet – 01-01-19

My Egyptian series is an addition to my ‘j’accuse’ painting ‘The Revelation of Bettie Page’. My New Year’s resolution for this year: I dare all algorithms of social media scanning the internet for nipples like the Matrix’s sentinels for Neo. Egyptians were not shy to stand up for their sexuality not ending up in porn and smut. We must stop the display of pink uzis for children on the internet and choose nipples in stead. My Bastet goddess therefor shows a nice pink one. The system will track it soon enough but you as spectator can join John Lennon in singing: “I’m not the only one”. Happy 2019 to everybody!
