Inspired by the intensity and rich sound of the musical instrument as well as the beautiful wooden body and intricate components, I created this painting. This is one of the larger ones in the series. A dark purplish cast shadow contributes to the bounce of the bright colors, making them dance on the canvas. Great joy was experienced in the process of creating this work and the I intended for the viewer to experience the same feeling. The painting is unframed with neatly painted edges. All needed hardware is attached and the artwork is ready to hang on the wall.
