Original artwork description:

The contrast between the warm fiery colors of the "heart" of the house and the cold shadow tones of the outside is the main idea of the painting. By that contrast I wanted to stress the importance of having a home, especially nowadays. The feeling of safety being home surrounded by familiar things and dearest people are very precious. By the way, the instinct of being safe is one of the greatest and it leaves behind the will of sex and power. So, we can say that there are at least three basic instincts, not one.


Контрастом тёплых огненных цветов внутри дома и холодных оттенков улицы я хотела подчеркнуть идею важности домашнего очага для каждого из нас. Особенно сейчас. Дома под защитой родных стен и любимых людей каждый чувствует себя в безопасности. Инстинкт самосохранения между прочим наш базовый инстинкт, наряду с сексуальным и инстинктом власти. Так что основной инстинкт совсем не один, их целых три.

"The outcasts" series of paintings
There was a dusty cardboard folder in the furthest corner of my apartment. That folder contained a lot of my old canvases that were not demanded for years. Those pieces of art were simply rejected not only by customers, but also by creator. Myself. But in February 2020 they saw the daylight again and transformed to something new. And that gave me some kind of freedom I've been seeking for a long time. I really gave up on those canvases, but knew that in every picture there was a great idea. The point is that I couldn't simply set that idea right or make it understandable.
