Painted on-site at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, WI. Features a large yellow peony flower of the variety named "Bartzella" surrounded by deep purple "Noble Spirit" Irises. The background is created with drips and splashes of water-based casein paint, and glazed over with oil. Painted with both brush and palette knife, the shapes of the flower petals are enhanced by the texture of the paint.
Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a gold finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
