Artwork description:

Walking through our woodlot last year, I could feel that I was being watched. I looked up and there in a tree was a beautiful Barred Owl. We often hear them calling at night and see their wing prints in the snow as they hunt for mice and voles, but this was only my second daytime sighting.

This woodcut was used to produce a varied edition (V.E.) as the prints are inked in different colours, some have Chine collée (using Japanese papers) and others are simply printed straight on to the thin and beautiful Japanese papers.

Both bleed (where the image extends to the edge of the paper) and "normal" prints will be available soon.
