Original artwork description:

Painted on location earlier this summer at the lovely coastal town of Maldon in Essex, home to many of the last remaining Thames Barges.

This barge has been converted into a cafe on the waterfront and I felt it made a great subject. Standing on the quayside in the shade, I was able to finish this painting on location before the light changed too much.

This painting comes to you in a cream mount, with my trade mark studio stamp on the reverse, carefully wrapped and ready to be framed to suit your home.
