Like many artists I can sometimes find it difficult to decide when a piece is finished. There is often a tendancy to continue making adjustments, often overworking a piece. But as I built this piece I felt an overwhelming certainty that I should leave the piece at this stage. Although my pieces are at their heart abstract I still feel a pressure to include recognisable features. But the more I looked at it I felt the simple shape had already captured the spirit of this piece and by adding more elements to it I would risk the emotions captured within it.
I only charge one set of portage per order. If you buy more than one piece and happen to be charged additional postage at checkout, I will refund.
