Original artwork description:

This is my second portrait of my dear friend Jorgi. I think she may be my muse :)

Her combination of fragility, sadness and grace is so compelling. She always tells a story with her face. She's a complicated girl- at times she's bold and energetic, ready to befriend the world with her bohemian style and playful energy. At other times, she's reclusive, fragile and filled with self-doubt. A beautiful paradox. I think it's her polarized personality that draws me to paint her over and over again, forever trying to capture her state of mind.
