Original artwork description:

In 2014 I was visiting Barcelona and went up to the Park Guell in the north of the city. High up in the park there was a view looking down onto a children's playground at playtime. It was a bright sunny day and the children were running, chatting, laughing and playing just as all children throughout the world should be able to do in safety and security. It was such a happy scene and I wanted to celebrate it by making a series of paintings based on what I had seen which is what I did on returning home to my studio.
