As usual on the Ramblas Barcelona there are always interesting colourful people hanging about ,which provides lots of inspiration for paintings,this painting his of one of the local street performers ,he had slipped away from the crowd for a quiet moment to lean against a lamppost and watch the passing crowds ,I was interested in capturing the contrast of the bright colours of his outfit and the bright yellow taxi against the dark shadow of the background.
