Artwork description:

A limited edition linocut print, made by hand in my studio. The edition is of 40 prints. Printed onto Fabriano Tiepolo (290gsm) 100% cotton rag paper, and signed, numbered and titled by hand. Each print is presented in a professionally cut, conservation standard mount. The lowest number available from this edition will be selected for customers ordering this print.
I love the Barbican Estate with its strong brutalist architectural shapes and patterns. I've been particularly fascinated by these balconies with their planters overflowing foliage and flowers and eventually I had to do a print featuring them. A slightly unusual view of the Barbican estate but with a very recognisable tower in the background.

Materials used:

oil based block printing inks on lino printed on to fabriano paper
