Artwork description:

An original handmade and signed linocut print showing a view of the Conservatory in the Barbican Centre, London.

This is Number 6 from a variable edition of 50. The colours vary in the edition, and the main image shows the artwork for sale.

I printed this scene using several different lino blocks - using a different lino block for each colour.

Printed with oil based inks on acid-free paper.

The image is just under A4 in size and is signed and editioned in pencil at the bottom by me, the artist.

Prior to shipping the print will be backed with card, in a cellophane bag and securely packaged with cardboard.

The Barbican Conservatory is an unexpected tropical oasis at the top of the Barbican Centre in London. It is built around the Barbican Theatre's fly tower (used to raise and lower scenery) and opened in 1984. It has three pools and around 1500 species of plants and trees.

Paper dimensions are approximate.

Materials used:

oil-based inks, lino blocks, paper
